Show Notes

Rachel Hazlett-Karr originally studied journalism and documentary filmmaking but gravitated toward social entrepreneurship as another avenue to create social change. She founded and ran several startups. As a CEO who had done a lot of inner work, she focused on creating a healthy culture at her companies. More recently Rachel moved into founding a spiritual or capacity building school called Magenta. Her school is devoted to sharing unconventional healing methods. After surviving a sexual assault and a national media storm in her teens, she tried to bury the wound and get on her with life. As soon as she became a single mom a few years later, the love for her baby forced some change in her. What she realized is that she would need to face her wounds and strengthen her Light. This led her to Zen Buddhism and then into Western Esoteric teachings. Her journalism and documentary work has come full circle as she now cohosts a podcast and a YouTube show called Magenta FM that teaches listeners how to take back their power in life and relationships and become a force for healing themselves and the world.
